George is co-founder and Managing Director at Linkwise.
He specialized in online marketing while working for MVi (of the Starcom-MediaVest group) in the UK, one of the 5 largest Digital Agencies in Great Britain. He has been a Google Adwords Qualified Individual since 2007.
He is a hardcore "techie", acquiring his first computer (a Commodore 64) in 1985. Naturally, he chose to study at the Informatics & Telecommunications department of the University of Athens, although he later took more of a "business" turn with an MSc in International Business and Management from Manchester Business School of the University of Manchester.
George is co-founder and Client Services Director at Linkwise. He is responsible for relations with all advertisers in the Linkwise Affiliate Network.
He has worked in the Client Departments of the 2 biggest advertising agencies in Greece, UpSet! and Spot JWT. In these roles, he was responsible for some of the agencies' most important accounts like Vodafone, Eurobank, OPAP's "Pame Stihima" and Alpha TV.
He graduated from the department of Communication and Mass Media of the University of Athens and continued his studies with an MA in Advertising and Marketing at the Leeds University Business School.
Katerina is the third co-founder and Affiliate Director at Linkwise. She is responsible for the affiliate strategy of all affiliate programmes and oversees the overall operation on the Network.
She has extensive experience in media and marketing, having worked (among others) at GCap Media plc (now Global) the UKs largest commercial radio group as well as Athens Olympic Broadcasting and Beijing Olympic Broadcasting at the Athens and Beijing Olympic Games respectively. Her love for online marketing was born during her MA in Advertising and Marketing at Leeds University Business School and was transformed into Days4u.gr which she launched after returning from the UK and where she still is Managing Partner.
Before completing an MA in her second homeland, the UK (she's half British), she graduated from the department of Communication and Mass Media of the University of Athens.
Thalia initially started working with Linkwise as an affiliate and joined the team a bit later, in May 2011. She is responsible for supporting the network’s affiliates, keeping them up to date and promoting the network’s programmes.
Her professional experience mostly comes from the PR industry. She has worked, among others, for Imako Media and Hatzimichalis Estate, while before joining Linkwise she worked as a freelance Marketing & Communication consultant.
She recently completed her Master’s degree “Marketing & Communication with New Technologies” from the Economic University of Athens with her first degree being in Communication and Mass Media from the University of Athens.
Thomas is a Senior Application Developer working on the Linkwise Affiliate Platform. Besides always adding new features, he is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our infrastructure.
He has a long experience in all things web, having worked for the largest Internet companies in Greece like Atcom and Opticom. His biggest talent is his versatility as he can tackle any task from application development to systems administration and database management.
He "landed on the keyboard" at the tender age of 11. He studied informatics at Portsmouth University in the UK and is an evangelist of open source software.
Eirini joined Linkwise in February 2012. She provides support to the team and among her responsibilities are daily processing of affiliate applications and weekly reports of advertisers’ sales.
She gained significant experience in e-commerce working as an E-commerce Coordinator for Days4u since 2008. She is an invaluable asset for the Linkwise team and part of the “family”!
She was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete and moved to Athens in 2004 to study Communication, Mass Media and Culture in Panteio University.
