Meet the people at the heart of Linkwise.
George SymeonidisManaging Director
George is co-founder and Managing Director at Linkwise.
He specialized in online marketing while working for MVi (of the Starcom-MediaVest group) in the UK, one of the 5 largest Digital Agencies in Great Britain. He has been a Google Adwords Qualified Individual since 2007.
He is a hardcore "techie", acquiring his first computer (a Commodore 64) in 1985. Naturally, he chose to study at the Informatics & Telecommunications department of the University of Athens, although he later took more of a "business" turn with an MSc in International Business and Management from Manchester Business School of the University of Manchester.
George Sotiropoulos Client Services Director
George is co-founder and Client Services Director at Linkwise. He is responsible for relations with all advertisers in the Linkwise Affiliate Network.
He has worked in the Client Departments of the 2 biggest advertising agencies in Greece, UpSet! and Spot JWT. In these roles, he was responsible for some of the agencies' most important accounts like Vodafone, Eurobank, OPAP's "Pame Stihima" and Alpha TV.
He graduated from the department of Communication and Mass Media of the University of Athens and continued his studies with an MA in Advertising and Marketing at the Leeds University Business School.
Katerina Karagianni Co-founder
Katerina is the third co-founder of Linkwise and, as Affiliate Director, was responsible for the affiliate strategy across the Network during the first years of operation.
Nowadays she supports the company by consulting on UX issues concerning the platform and other marketing activities. She is also the consultant behind K Consulting, helping companies optimize their online presence through UX and Usability. Katerina is a prolific public speaker and trainer on all things UX and was also a founding member of GRECA, the Greek Ecommerce Association.
She is a graduate of the department of Communication and Mass Media of the University of Athens and a holder of an MA in Advertising and Marketing from the Leeds University Business School, from where she was also published in the Public Relations Review.
Thalia StefanakouAffiliate Director
Thalia initially started working with Linkwise as an affiliate and joined the team a bit later, in May 2011. She is responsible for supporting the network’s affiliates, keeping them up to date and promoting the network’s programmes.
Her professional experience mostly comes from the PR industry. She has worked, among others, for Imako Media and Hatzimichalis Estate, while before joining Linkwise she worked as a freelance Marketing & Communication consultant.
She recently completed her Master’s degree “Marketing & Communication with New Technologies” from the Economic University of Athens with her first degree being in Communication and Mass Media from the University of Athens.
Julia GeorgopoulouAffiliate Manager
Julia joined Linkwise in June 2018 to provide further support to our affiliates, as well as maintain and build strong relationships between Linkwise and its wide network.
Her love for Digital Marketing (she successfully completed the “Regeneration Academy of Digital Marketing Young Practitioners” program and “Digital Marketing Foundations” seminar series, before joining Linkwise) is only challenged by her love for sports. That’s why she studied Sports Management in the University of Peloponnese and has worked in major sports events.
In her spare time, you’ll find her standing against a Dartboard aiming for a 180, as she is a member of the women’s Greek National Darts Team for 2018!
Eirini ChoursanidiAffiliate Executive
Eirini joined Linkwise in February 2012. She provides support to the team and among her responsibilities are daily processing of affiliate applications and weekly reports of advertisers’ sales.
She gained significant experience in e-commerce working as an E-commerce Coordinator for Days4u since 2008. She is an invaluable asset for the Linkwise team and part of the “family”!
She was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete and moved to Athens in 2004 to study Communication, Mass Media and Culture in Panteio University.
Christos KeklikopoulosApplication Developer
Christos joined Linkwise to support the ever increasing development needs of our platform.
From an early age, he knew he wanted to do something related to computers and technology. In the end, he was drawn to application development, focusing on web but experimenting with really anything.
He recently completed his Bachelor's degree in Informatics & Telecommunications from the University of Athens.
George BouroutisPerformance Marketing Executive
As a Performance Marketing Executive, George is responsible for the support and onboarding of new advertisers into the Linkwise Affiliate Network.
He gained his Μarketing experience while working at the Marketing department of Bournas Medicals, where he took part in multiple projects, as well as the Medica international exhibition in Dusseldorf.
From a young age, he had a passion for technology, which led him -after completing his Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the A.T.E.I. of Athens- to become an ACTA certified E-Commerce Consultant and Google Adwords Qualified Individual in 2014.
Pelagia AndrianopoulouPerformance Marketing Executive
Pelagia joined Linkwise in January 2017 and is responsible for supporting the company’s internal projects.
Her strong interest in online marketing prompted her to pursue it professionally, joining the start-up scene immediately after graduation.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, as well as a Master's degree in International Marketing from Strathclyde Business School.
